After almost 2 1/2 years of operation, it is my sad duty to relate that we have decided to cancel the Adventurer's Guild Program due to poor participation and general lack of interest. The RPGA Network and Wizards of the Coast would like to thank all of you who have participated in the program over the last few years, and hope that you will participate in any future retail-based programs the Network launches in years to come.
This does not mean, however, that the RPGA Network is not interested in running games in stores. Far from it. We will still be supporting play of games from our tournament library in retail locations, and encourage the development of strong retailer/gamemaster relationships. It simply means that we will no longer be providing special adventures tied to upcoming product releases. Retail Game days will not be affected by this change.
If you have further questions, or would like to suggest
alternate formats for in-store play of RPGA Games, please
let us know. I have enjoyed working with you all over the
past few years, and hope to do so again in the future.
Thank you for participating, and I hope to hear from you soon.
